KF, do you check your GH after adding the coral chips?

I really do not have any idea. But I have read that K, Mg and Ca amount has to be balanced. Too much of one may hinder the the uptake of the other 2. The thing is, I don't know what is the balanced amount. But generally, my tanks are about GH 8~10 and I dose about 30~40ppm of K weekly. Have not problem with ET so far.

    KF,

maybe you can take it look to see if the yellowing is on the old leaves or the new leaves? This should give you some idea of whether the deficiency is from a mobile or non mobile nutrient?

To remove snail, use puffer fish. Get it from Keong Siong. One, max 2 will do the job, almost overnight.

This hobby call for much patient.

    Have fun.

    DEA,

It's always been green to me. Check out MarkYen's tank pics... excellent lawn of APP (in green ).

Yes, it's green. It was yellow for me when it was short of K.

Mine turns yellow with holes on the leaves. I have somehow stop adding fertilizer for weeks. Maybe that is the reason. Check on NO3 and Fe and it seem OK. I will add the K first to see how it goes.

Yes, it's because you stop adding fert. I'm pretty sure E. Triandra rely more on the water for their nutrients. Adding K alone may not help if you water does not have enough nutrients for it. It's a N-hungry plant too IME.
