Isn't it great that the filter is working again. Now you have a backup filter or you got an excuse to setup another tank.

i asked c328 auntie to order the impeller for me and she said she would try. Going to try and keep one spare just in case this problem happens again. I'll definitely update if i figure out the root of the problem

haha... keep it as a backup filter.. Next time when you have another faulty part, you will have the replacement parts ready...

I'm using 2 Eden 501 now and I will buy another one as a spare when there are good deals available... cheers!

i already set up another tank with an eden 501 actually, in the midst of planting my office tank now, though with each additional plant put in, the tank looks uglier =( i thought it was beautiful with just the wood/nana petite/narrow java fern and rocks...now with a foreground highlight and some midground it looks messy till i do a trimming of the midground. but that is a story that doesn't belong here!

i called c328 and auntie said i can get a refund since i haven't used the new one yet. i love c328
