Tahitian Moon black sand

Hi.I bought one bag of Tahitian Moon black sand.I'm planning to use this as my substrate?anyone used this already?please advise.Thanks.

What kind of setup you plan to do for your tank? Fish keeping or planted tank?

I'm planning to use it as shrimp tank only.CRS maybe and few moss.Thanks.

I don't think we will be familiar with this sand in Singapore.
It seems to be a nice sand and is inert.
Directions are to just rinse and use.

CaribSea Tahitian Moon Black Sand,this is what I bought.I was just stunned by the color of the sand that's why I bought it.I'll just try it using moss only at first then eventually introduce some plants in the substrate.I'll also put some low grade CRS for testing.
