I recently added some Gastromyzon sp. (hillstream loach) to one of my tanks, It now appears that one has got a fungus infection here are a few pics -

Whats the best why to try and get rid of this?

P.S. all tank parameters seen to be fine

    Cheers.

Anti fungus medication should be available off the shelf, not sure what's normally available in the UK. Actually, I haven't had much success with medication, but the one that I am using, dessamor (by Aquarium Munster) seems to be okay for some other fish.

However, I am not sure if they would take kindly to medication as I find them really, really sensitive. If you are going down this path, I would suggest the following (regardless of the medication):

    1. isolation in a hospital tank,
    2. additional strong aeration,
    3. dose lesser than recommended dosage as a start and see if there are further improvements (for a few days). If there are no improvements, consider dosing the recommended dosage.

Oh, and I think that your loach species should be Gastromyzon scitulus.
