Hi,
Do you mean you want to keep your water ph to be low and dark at the same time? Or your priority is to keep your water ph down? If it is the latter there are a few ways such as using soils as a substrate or placing peat in your filter.
Using ketapang leaves, bag them for easy removal, is also another way as proposed before.
cheers

I have 3 point collection of water. 1 for rain water collection. 1 for aging rain water, and another for aged rain water + ketapang + areation. I always have a constant supply when I do water change.
If it's meant to be, it will be. If not, so be it!
thanks for the replies i would use ketapang but currently studying in the U.S so kinda difficult to get it and yes i would like to keep the ph low and have a constant dark water look.
i think probaly try use peat in my filter and see how it goes
thx
i believe the americans use oak leaves in place of ketapang
yep we use oak leaves over here, it's free, there is a big tree in my backyard
will try to get oak leaves just wondering how it looks like and if i'm able to get it here in seattle
isn't the oak leave design on the Canadian flag?
If it's meant to be, it will be. If not, so be it!
how about used tea leaves?
