    the whites and reds are not intense. Was it like that before you bought them or could it be due to stress integrating into a new environment. If its the latter and the colours returned to its richness eventually, then the 1st piece shall be a A and the 2nd a S, due to the tooth pattern.

    Agree with wei, if the white/red intesifies and strengthens.

    1st pic: 4 bands of white, quite thick = A grade.
    2nd pic: 4 bands of white, quite thick + tiger tooth = S grade.

    For the first pic, the shrimp's tooth marking is clear as opposed to white, hence don't think it qualifies as a S grade.

    they look A grade to me as the colour is not stable yet.

    they are B grades. A grades should have more solid color. so if after a few days their color start to show then you got A grades

    hi kian, maybe you can try the mosura bioplus solution. Stated on the bottle to improve the crs colouration.

    would'nt coral chips affect the parameter of the water? Making it more alkaline? CRS need acidic water rite?

    Coral chips are to raise the ph to more alkaline. as ADA is of low ph and not suitable for crs
