    Morpheus, dose 1ml... that is within the 1 to 2ml per 200L (i.e. 0.5 to 1ml per 100L).

    Hi M0rph3us,

I just started using Seachem flourish also, according to the seachem website, you can calculate the amount to dose by taking your tank volume in US gallons and divide this by 40 or divide by 150 for liters. In this case you should dose about 114/150 = 0.76ml ml. Depending on how heavily planted you tank is, 0.5ML may be sufficient. Flourish comes with a dispenser that allows you to measure 0.5ml or 1ml. I guess you could take the midpoint between 0.5 and 1ml as about 0.75ml

BTW, I think flourish is not that high in Fe and K concentration....the more experience guys here will know better.

wow thats great man.. didnt know i only need 1ml per week... i remembered using quite alot for sera`s liq. fert..

as for FE, i would be adding laterite balls and maybe purchasing seachem iron.. will see how it goes after i add the laterite balls

as for K, will be getting k2so4 from dr mallick or if i cant find his shop then i will get seachem potassium..

is there anything else i need??

I am always wondering about this 1ml per 200l instruction.

    Is 1ml really enough for 200l ??

According to this table, Flourish has 0.23% S, 0.11% Mg, 0.005% Mn, 0.00044% Zn, this does not look concentrate at all. If we take a look at TMG with 1.01% S, 0.39% Mg, 0.04% Mn and 0.002% Zn, the dosage for TMG is 1ml per 10l.

However, as Flourish contains Phosphorus, I dare not up the recommended dosage.

thanks for the link... always wondered whats in Flourish...

Its interesting to see that flourish also contains stuff which is not typically considered as a required nutrient... namely Cobalt, tin, nickel, Vanadium, Sodium, Rubidium, Iodine, and Bromine...

Also of interest, I just realized that TMG doesn't have Calcium... maybe thats why some of my leaves are looking a little crinkled.

For contents of Flourish, refer here.

Seachem Equilibrium complements Flourish very well, IMO.

i put my flourish in the fridge as stated on the instruction, still good to go after 3mths of use. But not sure if any minerals inside died or become useless.

I once asked Seachem about Flourish. This is the reply:
This is normal for this supplement and is of no consequence to the performance of the product. Refrigeration of this product is recommended but not necessary. Worst case if not refrigerated is that mold can grow on the surface of the product (possible, but not likely) and feed off of the vitamins contained in the product. If you experience this, simply discard the mold from the surface and continue regular use of the product.

I have a long standing question and I think it is better to ask since flourish is raised. My flourish, since I open it, (liquid) is dark brown in colour and there is suspending materials in it. Is those suspending materials normal or are they the molds (they look like tiny fish waste)?

    Kindly advice, thank you.

LOL. I should have included the email I sent them... it follows.
    Hi,

When I opened my current bottle of Flourish, the liquid was transparent and yellowish. I've been storing it in the refrigerated as instructed. I've noticed that with each subsequent dosing that the liquid is turning dark red.

I've also noticed that my previous bottle of flourish towards the end, had small dark red particles in it.

    Is this normal?

    Thanks.
