Any idea why my platy died?

Hi,

I got a platy dead yesterday, i have a male and female platies. The female gave birth about 1 week ago. Anything to do with giving birth? or is it because the male keep harassing the female?

I got other fuanas, 2 cory, 2 bumblebee, they are ok.
Need your advice.

Usually Platy are very hardy fish, but are quite prone to fungus & white spot. The hind side is it breeds abundantly to replace itself, so I usually keep about 6 females & 4 males. Do keep a bottle of Protozin by Waterlife products, it is very effective against Whitespot & Fungus.

Bro...have you actually tried this before while feeding your platies.

Pinch the fish food with your finger and dip it in. The platies will actually nibble your finger for food. I found that only platies dare to pull this stunt, unlike the tetras, rummies... I find them very 'manja'...endearing...
