Yes, is better to removed all other fishes and leave behind the parent fish to guard the eggs or the fry. The parent don't allow other fishes to come closer to their eggs.

Those you mention as transparent are fungused eggs which not fertile yet, is ok. Those opaque will turn to fry.

Its the other way round. Opague eggs are fungused and infertile. Slightly transparent ones are the fertile ones. If this is their first spawn it is highly likely that they'll eat the eggs. Subsequently they'll learn. They will also eat their eggs if they're shocked, for example if you put a net in to net out other fishes. Also angelfish parents do take turns to fan the eggs.

Many Thanks to Cpark188 and limchongyu for the prom reply and torque6 thanks for the congratulation I guess everybody will experince this, if you take good care of them, they will repay you the kindness . Anyway like limchongyu mention above , as this is the first time they spawn and I have see the parent eating the eggs lets cross my finger and hope they are not that greedy and eat up everthing. Anyway should I change some water? If yes how much ? Thanks again for all the prom reply and advice CHEERS

Always nice to hear someone's fish spawned. If got pictures to show, would be even better.

Just do the normal routine water changes, feed well and its likely they'll spawn again. To induce spawning, maybe you can do a water change with cooler water to mimick the rainy season but most likely not need. Also after they've spawned try not to disturb them with watere changes etc, else they might eat up the eggs. Just feed the parents and try not to disturb them.

I think 1ft tank a bit small consider if you put 4 angel fish together? Is it possible if you can pair up so just one pair inside 1ft tank? If it's dwarf cichlid the mother will try to protect her fries and eggs. Not really sure whether angel fish does that?

Angel fish i'm not too sure never tried breeding before. But if apisto.. When they start breeding very hard for them to stop.. Hahaa never heard before fishes also have divorce ones?
But if your new setup suits them, i'm sure they will breed again.

You can take them out and house them in a dedicated tank.. no "divorce" .. BUT.. of course have the tank cycled 1st.. either short-cut or use water from the old tank.. with a pump/sponge filter which has already been cycled..

it becomes easier if you want to breed if the tank is a bare tank .. absolutely nothing except the sponge filter(with the bubbles rising out from the centre).. but doesn't look so good...

also, find out about feeding the fry with Brine shrimp or other stuff.. or you can just try out the natural cycle and let the parents do the work..

    best of luck....

is good to keep a pair in a tank by itself, if is a responsible parents, they will bring up the fries.

if not, best to take out the eggs once laid, and raise the fries yourself.

once a confirmed pair, it will breed every almost 2 weeks when eggs is removed.

    CHeers..
