    Hi Jervis,

I think the nice thing about this setup is how well fits into the shallow long tank, which frames the wood very nicely. By keeping the ferns and bolbitis on one side of the tank and leaving loads of negative space, you demostrated that negative spaces can work well in a composition. I think this is a good example of less is more. cheers

    M. hirsuta is a very beautiful plant, espacially them the leaf spreads into the "four leaf clover" form. I used to have them in my tank, but they're all covered up by my invasive S. subulata now. Well, im sure they'll look good in your new tank setup!

Yeah I love this plant... that's why I purposely set up this tank to continue keeping them

Here's a pix of my M. hirsuta... at least they are looking decent enough

Finally gathered all the liquid fertilizers needed for running this tank... only the S7 Vitamix is newly bought... the rest were leftovers from previous tanks. Started S7 this morning

Added a school of Microrasbora galaxy a couple of days ago... was told NOT natural caught... so probably locally bred. I spent a lot of effort in making them well fed as some of them are quite skinny looking

Those 2 Mini puffers are from my decommissioned 2ft tank.

In the short term it shouldnt be too bad. In the long term its probably not wise to keep them together, depends on the species of puffer too.

They're not permanent residents are they Jervis

bro, seems like your galaxies does not hide ya? im very interested in getting galaxies.. but my previous expierence with them is that they hide 24/7 only during feeding time then they will come out.

These are quite bold actually... probably because there's a lack of hiding space in this tank
