    Any one know wat kind of rock is this?

    Is it safe to be use in aquarium..

    If I remember correctly, you can actually use vinegar to test the ph. If it fizzles when contacted with vinegar, it has low ph properties...

    If fizzle, wouldn;t it raise the pH when you put in your tank?

    If fizzles, its acidic and would lower yout ph.

    If it fizzles, it means that the rock contains compounds that will make water harder, thus increasing the pH.

    You can measure the PH value of a pail of water, then put the rock and maybe after 1 day measure the PH again to see if it goes up or down.
