Having trouble starting my new 2026...checked all the piping and connections and finally isolate the problem to the impeller area. The filter works for a while and start to make buzzing noise. Upon opening the top cover, realise the impeller cover is loose...tighten and try again with filter working fine for a while and buzzing noise again.

    Anyone experience issue like this?

just to share my experience, there is a white plastic stick and two small rubber cover goes through the whole impeller. The set up MUST be as followed:

Rubber Cover --> Plastic Stick --> Impeller --> Impeller Cover --> Rubber Cover.

Last time I made a mistake as
Rubber Cover --> Plastic Stick --> Impeller --> Rubber Cover --> Impeller Cover and I had the same issue as yours.

Anyway, not to blame Eheim but I feel that Professional II series are quite troublesome canisters. If giving a choice, I will still stick with the round-shape classic models.

Thks for the info....my cover was super loose..think that might solve the problem!

Well, its another battle for tomorrow...need to change out of my wet clothing due to the filter.. Time for bed....

Maybe eheim should be notify about this design "imperfection"..just a thought as a consumer trying to protect his rights

Anyway, thanks alot for sharing your experience

ermm..try the above method, the shaft will be loose..think i will have to get a new cover from NA.

Now that's no flow at all although there's no buzzing sound.
