Please dismantle the regulator and bring only the tank when doing topping up.

i dunno whether my cylinder is DOT certified cos i just got it from my uncle... how to tell??

Just to confirm...I do my top up from Sealico. I managed to convinced them to do a house pickup for a two dollars charge. They will return the next day [

And insist on food grade CO2!

According to Sealico ppl, many LFS sent theirs to Sealico for C02 top ups.

My cylinder is Catalina Type of Cylinder specially for Carbon Dioxide

I do not know what kind cylinder Nature Aquarium offers. But I like mine anyhow

Nature has the standard cylinders (not catalina). Sing Swee Bee is abit far but they have regulators and steel cylinders. Speak to Gas Lim and mention you want it for water plants.I find NA Nature's cylinders are similar to Sing Swee Bee's. For price I wouldn't know the difference.

I paid around 2x dollars inclusive of transportation. My cylinder capacity is 9litres.

There will be DOT engraved onto the cylinder.

If you mean all the way to the west...
We just came back from a CO2 top-up at:

Chem-Gas Pte Ltd (near to Tuas Power Station)
No. 3 Tuas View Lane, S(637641)
Look for Mr Vincent Lee (pg 92151250, tel: 6897899

Can get direct top-up-and-collect. Quite cheap. $8 for my 2L bottle. He said the same price for 5L tank. Driving there is much easier. Good luck.

They are very kind folks there. Just give them a call before going down. They will suggest a convenient time. The place quite hard to find though.
