Isn't taking a cab to the place you are to top up going to cost you more even though you can get it done on the spot? Would like to know how much they cost to top up at bioplast? Me live beside Queenstown MRT so transport using MRT is no problem..but travel down to kallang and then take cab is going to cost me more leh unless they are pretty good with topping up the CO2? []

Recently come across a shop at Commonwealth that do CO2 top up. At blk 46-3 Commonwealth Drive, Joy Aquarium. You can perhaps check it out with them. Seems quite fast, about two days you can have your cylinder back.

i dont know if u guys know, i found this over another forum.

"Go straight to SOXAL (Singapore Oxygen Air Liquide) at Tanjong Kling. $10 for 3kg tank. Very high pressure, lasts me 2 years while normal pressure equalisation filling at LFS and what not only last me 6 months. Get the real thing cheap! SOXAL filling is next day collect. Problem is that they are quick picky with the tanks the refill. "

call n ask the salesman and sing swee bee??

the last time I heard from someone when I bought a sing swee bee CO2 canister is that they might be able to help you transport your canister to their location for refilling and bring back for you if they happen to pass by their area.

somemore the CO2 canister I bought is brand new (manufactured this year) with some test certification issued. Worth the money spent than any LFS. They also got some industrial regulators and solenoid. Somehow, the impression industrial products gave me is they outlast anything that LFS are selling. No one ever complain their industrial equipment is faulty but only complain that it's not compatible for usage rite?
    Regards,
    Brigitte
