quite unlikely for C. hastatus to do so.
My two cents...
Same here, like i said...never realized so many people into the C.hastatus! The ones now commonly available are the hastatus correct? They could've been one of the reasons there's such a huge craze for dwarf corydoras? But somehow i don't really like C.hasbrosus? They look alittle "stupid" to me IMHO.The way their eyes look on their spotted body makes them look very unintelligent. The 12 i have now look alittle like that though the good thing is they're not as shy compared to my pygmaeus. My pygmaeus have already been with me for more then a year already and have bred readily yet they still skittle all over the place when i approach the tank! Just hope the hastatus prove to be human friendly when they arrive at our shores!

C. Hastatus will be shy I guess.. I used to keep them and they will skittle all over the place when I approach the tank. Very cute little fellow.. and I love all dwarf corys be it Hastatus, Pygmaeus and Hasbrosus.. That was once few year back when Hasbrosus never reach our shores for quite some time.. Everyone was looking frantically for it by then.. Now.. Most commonly seen.. That's why not many people like them anymore.. One thing for sure.. We human all love rare things.. The more rare it is.. The more we want to find it.. Haha..
