    Does snails eat peacock moss?

Find some of my moss leaves getting bota. Suspect snails are the culprit.

    Anyone can advise?

I was just about to post my own question about a similar problem: i saw my nerites crawling all over my U.S. fissidens, was wondering if they ate it?

My snails are those sharp and long type.

I used to have the normal round type snails but since the appear of the above snails, it gone.

If you have shrimps in your tank, I will suspect the shrimps than the snail.

If those are Malayan trumpet snails, they don't eat plants. The normal round type sounds like pond/pouch snails, which are notorious for eating plants.

Nerite snails don't eat plants either.

I have SAE, Yamato, golden alega eater, shrimps & hundreds of sharp shell snails in my tanks. My riccia grows well but not the new plant, moss & fisseden.

Thinking of a small puffer to deal with the snails.
