Just bought this at Teo's today ($19.50). It's a CO2 Bubble Counter cum Check Valve (connected to the regulator). Makes things a lot neater (no little bottle dangling around) and I like the fact it connects directly to the valve on the regulator. Makes for less connections that may leak.

Keong Seong at Havelock should have it too. I showed it to Chan at Nature Aquarium, so he might start stocking it too.

For newbies, my old bubble counter is the one commonly used in the hobby.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

Vinz..thanks for the recommendation...it was good stuff..no more back leakage. Bubble counting is so much easier and smoother.

Hey Vinz, a little out of point, but how did you add lines and arrows to your photos? I mean what programme did you use?

Back to the topic, I was at Teo's today too... but no one else was. Didn't see this bubble counter... did they have anymore? Is it only compatible with "Tiren"? Mine is (presumably Taiwan made) "Wan Kwan".

Err... now that you asked, I took a closer look. I don't think it's built-in. Looks like it is attached directly. But, it was already there when I bought it.

Yes, the bubble counter can be opened. Both ends are screw tops.

    eprouve, I'm using Photoshop.

They should have 2 or 3 sets left... unless it was all grabbed up after I posted this.

It should fit any regulator with standard fittings.
