Eheim price increase?

Anyone heard the same news? Been told by 2 popular LFS that Eheim has increased their price. Can anyone verify?

Oh ya, forgot Singapore having 8.5% inflation.

Yes, all Eheim price has went up, C328 may have some old stocks that selling old price, it was told by Y618 his brother. I find NA sell cheaper price than the rest. But i noticed the packaging is different in some model, not sure why! Some people told me to look at the plug, 2 pin or 3 pin plug, approve or not approve set. Quite confusing!

i was given a heads up about the price increase by a nice forummer who heard about it as early as January. That's why i bought my 2 2028s in the last week of march despite only needing them in august. they're currently sitting brand new in my storeroom

What's the price difference for 2028?

What I know is there is another increase as of 15th Jun 2008. Was quoted $79 for 2211 and new price is $90+. Was also told there is improvement made to this model but not sure about the rest.

i was quoted that price for a 2211 prior to April 2008 as well. could have been that he was selling old stock at the old price and now that he's run out of old stock the new stock is being sold at the new price? not too sure

as for improvement in 2211, US forums are saying that Eheim has discontinued the 2211 model so i doubt that there were any recent improvements made to the model

I asked at a certain popular lfs in northeast area and was told its better and that justify the price difference. Don't know what improvement he talking about

I just bought the 2211 at NA and paid the old price but was told its new stock

Funny, Pet**** told me their 2211 is new stock and improved version. Unless he quoting another model....

In 2004, I bought a 2028 ProII from Ian of Kingfisher (no loner operative) at S$220. Is the price somewhere near this?

Thats dirt cheap if it comes with warranty. I believe its over $340 now? Please correct if I'm wrong.

it's about $100 more now i believe. i bought mine at $280 before the april price increase (with warranty) and was told it'd increase by $20-$30 at least after old stocks run out

Yes, with warranty and the works.

Wow, the price has gone up about S$100 more. Strange, most equipments will reduce price gradually as more other players enter the market, but eheim's price go north. I believe they are confident in their products to do so.
