Aiya, when I reach home yesterday evening. Found most of my fishes on the surface gasping for air. Looked at my bubble counter and wah!!! CO2 bubble streaming out like 20 per second? Tuned it down to the normal 3-4 bubbles per second and then turn off the CO2 supply. Did a water change and left the lights on extra 5 hours to let the plants get rid of the extra CO2. Lucky no fish death detected but still have to confirm that on my 3 kuli loaches. Most of the time they are hiding in the undergrowth and quite hard to make a headcount.
This morning, the bubble counter shows zero bubble when it is suppose to turn on. Have to adjust the needle valve again. But now, I reach home and it is bubbling somewhat like 5 bubbles per second. Think the regulator up lorry liao.
It is a Jbj regulator bought 3 years ago. Is that the average lifespan of such regulator? Hope it won't go crazy till the weekends then I may bring it back to NA to have it checked.
