    Hello all,

Am looking for the most economical chiller for a 2ft tank. I'd like the temperature to hit around 25-26. Chiller also has to be relatively quiet. Anyone have any suggestions? Is a budget of $200 too low?

I heard that Resuns are a bit unreliable, though, with them having trouble sensing temp changes...

With the budget, you can look for a second hand one.

Resun CL280. I used that before. No problem.

    Cheers, Christophe

I'm thinking of buying a chiller for my tank, does it consume more electricity compared than a canister filter?

Yes. How much more depends on how frequent it kicks in.
