    Hi bros,

Care to share the methods that you have used to keep your water pH at acidic level (6.2 - 6.5)? And what is the effort involved in maintaining the pH.

    Cheers

Here are the tings you can use to lower the pH of your water ketpang/indian almond leave, peatmoss, Reverse Osmosis water( RO water), and distilled water.

Distilled water can become very costly because you have to buy it by the jug. i would not chose this method for larger tanks.

I have a stable 6.6- 6.4 with co2 concentrate at 20-30ppm using gex shrimp+plant soil, however, im more interested to keeping PH at stable 7.0 lol as i m beginning to observe my nerite snails corroding in my tank since they were introduce almost 3 months back.

You could use Co2 to bring down the pH in the tank but with out plants and a blanced fertlizer dosing schedule the tank is doomed to be an algae farm.
