    Hi all,

New to the AQ family and this is my first thread.

I have tried keeping oto in my 2 feet tank to control algae growth. However, for one reason or another, none have live past 1 week in all my attempts (probably 4 times).

Now, I am wondering if the Panda is an alternative to the oto to control algae growth. From what i can find in the web, they should. Starting this thread to leverage on the experiences of fellow forummers ...

I am currently keeping tetras in my tanks which include Penguins, Rummy Nose and Black Neon.

    Thanks ...

Well, in my opinion, Otocinclus spp. perform the job much better.
