I'm currently working on my next project with my baby. This time I'm going to experiment on a new substrate. It's a Caribsea Tahitian Moon Black Sand.

    The Tank
    (It's a Cyber Aqua R-350 glass tank,dimension is 35 x 22 x 28 cm)

The Substrate (Caribsea Tahitian Moon Black Sand)

    The Rock

The co-owner of the tank (my baby kaila)

I'm still looking for a perfect lighting for this tank.I've been looking for two weeks already and still can't find one.My baby is pushing me already to set this tank up.maybe somebody can help me look for one.I prefer a big boy style of light.as for the plants, hmmmm, maybe I'll use Fissidens fontanus for this set up.for the fauna,my baby's suggestion is to put discus.....I don't think so my baby....I'll just test a lower grade CRS here and then if everything goes well I'll put higher grade CRS.

Nice going and you have an assistant too!
I dont know the specifications for Aquaclear 30 but if the flow rate is adjustable you should be able to use it.
No harm testing it in an empty tank first.
You'll save money on a new filter and benefit from a higher rated filter.

The sand is very interesting... with the shiny speckles... should call it Black Stars instead The white stones might be too contrasting for the black sand... but again it depends on how you use the stones. A step by step picture journal will be nice

I see your baby likes HELLO KITTY

I don't think so,the PL is Solarmax.I just got lucky yesterday,I googled for a chiller and I saw this website, aquariamanila. They're a new company here and they are not open yet,so I got my PL from their warehouse.I drove one of their staff to get the stock. The good news is that they're bringing in ADA products here.

Lights look like a 2 pin 18w. I was at y618 last month and ask aunty for a suitable light for my 1FT, but she brought out only 1-2 sets. But aquahouse brand looks familiar.

i cant remember if it was 2 or 4 pins
wasnt intending to buy any lights that trip to y618 so didnt take a closer look
    but the box is unmistakable
in fact i think its been available in the market since at least sometime last year, at least for 9 or 11W versions

The funny thing is... although the packaging is almost identical... the brand is not printed on the 9W version.

Anyway, please feature your tank scape... I can see something interesting happening
