Yup. Some of the 'new' wood I bought also had that. Its kindda of slime... mysteriously appear, mysteriously disappear.![]()
Used to have them, but with time they will go away. some fish will eat it, like my tetras, or you can take them out and scrub them off. However, if you have already attached mosses to the bog wood, from my experience these slime will kill the mosses in contact it.

I usually soak my driftwood for about 8 weeks before use, initially in the first week, the transparent goo was quite rampant, it disappear after the 6 week, so did the tint.
