Jack Dempsey babies

Finally bought them today..
a friend told me he spotted them so i went there last evening.

bought 5 of them.
hopefully they all grow up.
at 1.5", mortality rate still quite high..

will be keeping at most a pair in the future.
will keep updated.

bought another cichlid too, very rare.
but will post together when i update my gallery.

wa lao then my living room no more sofa.

now a lot of tanks everywhere very hard to invade into living room...but will keep trying

highlights included jaguar spawning close up pics (XXX..got private parts)

and some other fish not posted haha.

i just ordered 2 more 3ft tanks to squeeze into my room.
so will keep posted once done haha.now no time, so when they come can only hook up filter and lights and throw some fish in

LSZ, where did you get your JD? I only have one now, want to get more but the shop I got my don't have them anymore.

Btw is blue dempsey a variation of JD or is it another species?

its at the meiling market, near queenstown mrt, new batch of JD just came in on thursday. Costs ard $2-$3 for 2 inches or less dependig on size.
