I am rescaping my cherry shrimps tank. Reason being I want to reuse the existing GEX soil for my apisto tank and to use the black quartz sand for this setup. I intend to have it as a moss only tank.

This is tank after removing everything and washed. It is a 35cm by 35cm tank.

The tank with the black quartz sand.

Another view with the rocks layout.

Filling up the gaps with small stones tied with Xmas moss

    Side view of the tank.

The final look of it, not quite done yet as I will need to get more small stones.

Nice arrangement and I really love the color of the rocks. Can imagine how nice it turns up when the moss fully spread.

I'm guessing these are fossilised wood.

Consider extending the moss to the foreground to increase plant mass? Overall, it's a natural looking tank

Question is this a glass or plastic tank?

I saw very nice 35 litre Arcadia tank in a local shop in my area that was very similar to this. It was a plastic sided tank, or whatever material they use other than glass? I've only ever had glass in the past.

    Zenscape,
I do not think I will extend the moss to the foreground as I will like to leave it bare as feeding ground for my shrimps.

    Verminator,
    It is a glass tank.

Will try to post an update photo tonight.

Not much of an update but just added in more moss stone to fill up the gap.

Will the shrimps survive with the black quartz? Mine all perished.
