Anybody noticed the increase of australian native fishes available in our LFS lately?

    - Morgurnda Morgurnda (Qian Hu)
    - Emporer Gudgeon (C32
    - Red Striped Puffer (C32

Hopefully some farms finally got around to breeding them so that we may have more of these beautiful but uncommon species.

Not emperor, empire gudgeon, Hypseleotris compressa

What's the red striped puffer? Tetraodon erythrotaenia? According to Fishbase, their distribution extends from Indonesia to Papua New Guinea. Not quite Australian, unless PNG is lumped in there.

The rainbowfishes like Melanotaenia spp. and Glossolepis spp. are actually quite frequently available, and occasionally there is stock of Pseudomugil spp. and Iriatherina werneri. It is a pity that these rainbowfishes are not as well appreciated.
