I only remove them when they grow slightly larger. Have you tried to quaratine your plants before planting them?

Bro, What kind of fish you used to clean the snail? Puffer? I have quite number of shrimplet in the tank. just worry the fish eat all of them. I read some in the internet using lettuce can attract them. Do you hear that before?

Any shrimp that can fit the mouth of the fish is potential food. Lettuce will work. Try do do a search on snails, there are many different methods that have already been discussed.

Control your feeding and remove as much snails as you can whenever you spot them. I find this the best way to control the snails population.

agree with this approach, introducing loach or puffer will result in problem later when they ran out of snails and start nipping at ur fish or shrimps.

actually, control the amount of your feeding is a good way too

for manual remove, you may want to wait after lights off, then snails will usually come up, and you can remove them.

    cheers, christophe

wait for them to grow up some before you remove them, as someone mentioned. you could remove the eggs they leave on the side of the tank with a toothbrush too.

But i think they do make a good addition to the tank, in controlled numbers.
