Most likely leak. Did you do a leak test before using the tank?
leak can be anywhere, but mostly at your regulator, or at bubble counter!
Cheers, Christophe
Is there someone who can do C02 home pickup, topup and delivery?
I don't drive so it's rather inconvenient. Stay in SengKang area. Most of the shops I checked out (Serangoon North Ave 1 area) does next day pickup.
Got one more question: When I first bought and installed my CO2 Cylinder, it lasted for a year and I could still see bubble at about 1 per 3 secs. Did a refill 2 month's ago and the bottle is already almost emptied, pressure is very low on the indicator. Leak or didn't get value for money?
thanks.

I remember that there was this guy doing home services for CO2. Do a search on the merchant section.
Regards to your leak and the lack of CO2, why not send it to Bioplast to have it check & filled at the same time? With the assurance that your tank is full, you can check your connects via using soap water like how the air con service men check your air con pipes for leakage. A bubble would appear where the leakage is. Just be careful that it doesn't get into your tank.
km hui,
Can you check with aquasynthesis aka rizal. I believe he is still doing co2 door to door service. Search under merchant announcement threads.
Thanks for the tip, trying to contact Rizal guy now.
Regarding the leak check, I got absolutely no idea how to go about.
Leak check at the soleniod, you mean to splash some soap water on the part just to see if the soap bubble starts forming or aggravated?
How do one check for leak with the bubble counter? Mine is just going through a tight fitted plastic bottle about a thumb length filled with water, (that's the buble counter, right). The tube feeds into it such that the CO2 flows in the tube, then rises out from the water within. Do I just submerge this thing into a pail of water to check for leaks?
thanks..

No splash soap water on it, but have a foamy tube of soap water, and apply the foam on the co2, joints etc and see if the foams breaks off or start forming bubbles at some spot.
You can try the LFS at Boon Keng, you can collect it on after about 15 mins. Can't remember the name but is quite famous for aquatic plants.
Not splash and make a mess out of it. Prepare a small bucket of soapy water. Tap your pipes & connections with a sponge, portion upon portion. Logically, where there is leakage, bubbles would form.
So does bioplast operate on weekend? I'm in need of topping up my CO2 tank but i'm only free during the weekend. Is there other places where i can top up my tank and collect it within a day?
Even if it's far i used to go to bioplast for on the spot fill up. How i wish there were doorstep delivery service.
Cheers!
Benetay
Yes, Bioplast is opened on weekends, but I believe it opens slightly later, 12noon if I am not wrong. You can always make a call first before setting off.![]()

thank God i found this thread.
found out that my CO2 actually ran out when i took a peek at my tank when going to the loo!
luckily luckily, else i'll be out of town for 4days![]()
i read somewhere in the CO2 FAQ is that the 15min top-up way is simply connecting your CO2 tank to their big tank, and you get the same pressure as their big tank (you'll get lesser CO2 if you are the further behind in the queue)
$15 for the top up
been there early today (or rather yesterday). luckily for them i can leave singapore in peace
i don't know, but i noticed that my CO2 tank was cold after the injection, maybe this shows that there are sufficient pressure going in? i don't know, i suck in physics :P
