Where can i get KH4 solution ?

Just create it yourself by mixing Sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) with water. 1 teaspoon of bading soda to 50 litres of water will be 4dH of KH.

It shouldn't look milky, do not buy Sodium bicarbonate with starch mix in it. I can’t remember what the name, but there are two similar products. Is it backing powder?

i use baking powder
lucky not use it yet...
but i have baking bicarbonate soda, is it the same as baking soda??

Yes, baking bicarbonate soda and baking soda is the same. The key word is bicarbonate soda.

Thank you Mr Gwee, also i take your advise, and put my outlet on top of the diffusor, now the co2 had spread around the tank. but the area below or around the diffusor dont seem to get the co2.

Hi. Can i used KH4 solution with dymax recommended 4 drops of Dymax PH reagent that comes with it instead of the tank water? Thanks!

Yes you can and you should because your tank water pH level may not due to CO2. So if you use tank water then you might have impurity that may effect the pH measurement.

How often you change the solution? Any recommendation for PH regent solution?

hm... no idea how often I should change. Usually what I do is during weekly maintenance I take out the drop checker from the tank, I need to clean the glass, so I need to take it out anyway. After a while outside the tank, drop checker will turn blue and to me that an indication that it still working properly.

PH regent, I'm using the one that come with the drop checker. I have 2 drop checker one ADA the other one is ADA knock off. Both are working fine. Tested both at the same tank side by side before.

By the way you don't need to leave the drop check in the tank all the time. Once I got the right bps, I take it out from current tank and use it on other tank

Got a Pocket Digital Scale with calibration weight 100g bought recently through Vpost(my wife got discount voucher ), originally bought this for my dry fert use now i'm using it to prepare my 4dKH solution using Tom Barr method. Pretty cheap as compare to what is selling locally which cost more than over hundreds bucks, about 50% less. Is really easy with high tech gadgets to play with. Below is the pic.
