    Hi,

Thought I'd post here first to introduce myself. I've been keeping tropical fish for almost 20 years, and I currently have4 tanks, all of which are planted.

I found this forum while googling various Boraras species, and I've found out that instead of getting the Boraras brigittae, and the Boraras urophthalmoides that I ordered, I'm stuck with a bunch of Boraras merah, some urophthalmoides, a single Boraras brigittae, and a wierd mystery rasbora, that I can't identify yet. In all fairness, they are kind of tricky to identify.

I hope to learn a lot here, especially with your very good cyprinid section.

aloha lljdma06 welcome.  I myself have been waiting patiently for my lfs to carry the beautiful "brigittae, which I feel is the most beautiful of the microrasboras.  Your merah (pheonix rasbora) though I feel is not a bad replacement, also very beautiful.  would be cool if we could get a pic of the "mystery" rasbora when you have the time.

Welcome to AQ, do post a picture of the mystery rasbora in the Freshwater fauna section, someone might be able to identify it.
    ...I love rubies too ...

Thanks for all the welcomes. I'll post pictures over at Freshwater Fauna. Well, as soon as I can convince my rasboras that it is in there best interests to remain still for photographs.
