This is not a power saving device, it merely tells you how much your equipments (in this case, maybe your fishtank) is adding to your monthly bills..
From what I had read, it seems that those sold in Singapore is of different brand selling between $80-100. Maybe some one can try to MO it? I do know they have 230V versions.
No worries!
please let me, I might get one.
Billy,
Thanks for the head up, will look around the hardware shop to see if there is one available. But the price quite steep leh ($80-100).
Good if we can find one that is more affordable.![]()

Goondoo, you must be psychic!
This is just what I was talking to Ranma about recently.
Hope we can get something like this locally, with a reasonable price too!

MY colleague bought something like Kill-A-Watt from Sim Lim Tower. Cost him $50+.
I was trying it in my office and already identified a few "Power thief". Interesting device I must say. Not a Need, but probably a must to identify those power leechers.
Example:
A computer CPU drew about 6-7W when they are in off mode.
LCD does not drew noticeable power when standby.
A APS UPS drew about 8-9W when no device is connecting to it.![]()
Yeah, buy and connect to your filter, lights, chiller and CO2 solenoid and figure out how much power your aquarium is using every month. That'll stop you from setting up more tanks.![]()

Goondoo,
Do you have any more information about the device?
Like the shop name or name of the device?
I'd like to get one to check out the leachers for my tanks and home appliances.
I'm quite sure there will be lots of surprises.

I wasn't sure if I mentioned this before...
It has a function whereby you can input the cost of the "power" and they will calculate for you as you use how much you are will be paying as long as you keep it powered (the one I borrowed have got no batteries to keep the memory alive when there is no power).
Better to check on the appliances in the kitchen especially the oven if it's above 5 years old. I have read on another forum that a guy checked his appliances in the kitchen and found out that a few of his old kitchen appliances are drawing more power than what was stated in the specification. The oven was the biggest culprit, drawing 600w extra during normal use and did not tally with the specification. He replaced it and a few others too.
