    I'd like to know how do we identify nerite snails and where to get them? Thanks..

    I think I saw some at Y618.. in a tub on the floor.

    Do check with C328 auntie also.. they like always have many types of snails.. located at the guppy area.

    hey..thanks man. so how do i identify nerite snails? if i approach her and ask "Auntie, do you have nerite snails?" will she understand? i myself don't know how to describe to her lah..

    Hahaha. I think they will just direct you to the snail area and you have to locate it yourself. Anyway, you won't get lost because the snails are just in a small betta tank.

    if you're staying in the east, there are lots of nerite snails at tropical in pasir ris and lots of other kinds of snails at a dollar each

    nerites are labelled as zebra snails

    hope thats of some help

    some shots of a bumble bee nerite. I used this when i bought them last year. c328 now have more apple nerites.

    saw some in OTF the other day. they were labelled as Horn Snails....

    Not sure if its another name for it..

    hmm... the LFS that i mentioned is the one behind the farm that sells plants. Tropical banners are put on the fence in front of OTF.

    Tropical is much nearer to pasir ris camp and right beside the prawn catching farm.

    Lots of snails, apple, zebra, horned bumble bee (as labelled) and some others, all kept in individual 'hamster' containers in a tank

    Just make sure that the underside of the snails, when they are grazing on the glass looks similar to those in Jervis old 30cm cube shots, i think mine not so quite clear.
