Light stand for Gex tank possible?

I'm actually thinking of custom making a light stand for my 2ft Gex tank, you know those typical Gex tank with black bracing. Do you guys think it will be possible for a light stand to stand on the rim?

Any idea where can i make one light stand?

I believe you can mount your lighting onto such a tank since the tank comes with a black plastic bracing. However, be sensible about it... if the light stand/fixture feels too heavy... then it's probably too heavy for the tank to support especially for a long period of time. Why do you plan to custom make a stand? Or are you looking at a hood?

I'm actually considering a hang on light. As it will be easier for me to manage my tank.
