There were there for some time now. Was tempted to get some to keep with my Sulawesi snails.
Fishbase listed the pH of the locality as 8.0 - 9.0. Any idea where do they exist in Sulawesi? The lakes? The only places where I read the pH was this high are the lakes. Hmmm...

Yes, they are in the rojak tank.
Oh dear, I didn't realize that they need high pH. But they seem to be quite tolerant of the slight acidic conditions they are in now.
Do they carry eggs in their fins like some of their cousins?

No idea, didn't manage to find much information on the reproduction. I think they should be tolerant of pH from 6-ish to high 8's, and I have a feeling they may be found in a wide range of habitats too.
