After deciding to upgrade our bed, we chose Sealy as it's one of the leading brands. Spending thousands on the bed & getting a bad experience from them is really not worth it.

We took our bed out to Sun in the corridor awaiting for our new bed to come. Upon installation, we spread the mattress protector & bed-sheet. To our horror, after the delivery guys left, our bed which was left outside was gone in less then 3 minutes. We call them up & they refuse to say they took it.

How could the bed disappear in a matter of 3 minutes, there wasn't any garang guni man today after asking a few neighbours. Our opposite neighbour pointed to the delivery personnel when we asked about the bed.

How could such issues happen right under our nose.

Understand that anything left outside the house doesn't belong to our property but that doesn't mean they have the right to take it. I think legally they are not wrong?

Send an email to Sealy(SG) & awaiting their response.

In future i might consider other brands like Simmons instead of Sealy since the prices of both are marginal.

    Cheers!

Yes very good 1 for 1 but they did it out of goodwill!

So i think can consider Sealy in future provided the standard remains.

So they replace a new Sealy for your "stolen/misplaced/removed" old mattress? What's the brand of your old mattress... out of curiosity.

Its a dunlopillo, i think it's quite a good bed. It's consider a house brand now i think. There are of cause more expensive & exotic beds around but i'm not into beds

I would say it turn out well.
    Good service recovery by Sealy.
I think the guys thought they are doing you a favor by throwing
the old bed/mattress away. But I guess they should have asked first.

Think the guys just take things for granted, and I don't believe they just want to help throw that away. Guess they will have a hard time explaining to their management, unless they actually brought that back to their office.

What a strange incident! I've retitled the thread accordingly.

Thanks Benny, don't have the function to rename the thread.

The bed was delivered today, it was better then expected. Everyone is happy with it.

    Great job Sealy!

He took the bed out to sun it. Quite a common practice.
