Hey there guys, today i noticed that both the male and female Apistogramma gibbiceps "Santa Isabel" have clamped fins. And this is happening when i am due to fly off to HK tomorrow for 2 weeks

I did nitrite and nitrate tests, nothing seems out of the ordinary (nitrite = 0 ppm, nitrate = 5-10 ppm). The last water change i did was about 5 days ago.

Besides the fin clamp, the fishes are behaving as per normal.. the male comes reedily to the surface when i come near, and the female is still trying to court the male. The galaxies and Microrasbora erythromicron i keep with the apistos are also ok.

Is the tail clamp any cause for concern? Any advice on what i should do before i leave for HK tomorrow? Any help will be much appreciated...

bro i supposed you have left for HK but anyway if you are back, do try adding Melafix as a treatment. It should help in the clamped fins.

    hope it helps, cheers
