    Hi guys

Time to reveal my secret project... a tank which I started more than 2 weeks ago

    Tank spec:
Tankset: Hailea 30L all-in-one nano tank
Lighting: 13W PL (comes with tankset)
    Filtration: Eheim Liberty 200
    Substrate: ADA Africana
Hardscape: Ohko stone and Old Black Wood

Initial hardscape with acrylic partitions concept... didn't work out well... removed the acrylic a few days later

Now the main inhabitant... a pair of Pelvicachromis taeniatus kienke (F1)

Can't resist the colouration especially the "cheetah" motif on the tail and fins

The male will colour up at times...

The reason I bought this pair is because of the female actually... it's nice to see a beautiful female in the tank

    And she's pregnant!!!

    Here's my layout

On top of a thick layer of ADA Africana soil... I primarily used Ohko stone (from previous setup) to stack flat to create a large cave underneath. Particularly like the horizontal cave created at the foreground where the 'kienke' love to hang out

This is my first layout using dominantly moss (Java Moss)... another low tech layout

Side angle view... can see the Ohko stone base better Also featured outside the tank... my ADA fantastic four

Another side shot... this time featuring my other love-of-my-life... caffeine

I may go and purchase a nano tank this weekend. I've got itchy feet and want to make a new scape.

Great set-up, you make it look effortless! I do envy you.

by the way, what type of filter are you using ?

with so many tanks, you can upsize your ADA Fanastic 4 to 500ml version. haha

Thanks! I am using a hang-on Eheim Liberty 200. I love this filter as it's very quiet and powerful at the same time. The only downside right now is water level. Once the water level is to drop by 1cm... I can hear loud water splashing. I can't fill up the tank any higher without the risk of overspilling

Upsize again? Will take a while to finish up these bottles I think

Thanks Zhan... when I started the tank I really do not have much concept... just the Africana soil and a horizontal piece of Ohko. The rest sorta fell in place naturally

    1) I have Java Moss tied to thin slices of ADA Riccia stone (using ADA Moss Cotton) placed on top of the Ohko stones.

    2) Plenty of Anubias barteri nana 'petite' tied to seasoned old black wood branches using ADA Moss Cotton. Some tied to short branches (I broke a long piece into 3, ouch!) and poke onto the soil

    3) Mini Bolbitis ties to old black wood branches using ADA Wood Tight (cable tie).

    4) Java fern 'narrow' tied to old black wood branches using ADA Wood Tight (cable tie).

    5) Some common hairgrass from another tank planted directly onto the soil.

    6) Last but not least, a pot of Anubias afzelii
