Well, if it's any consolation, I also bought 10 pieces for C328 yesterday night at S$1 each. We can always bring down the cost by averaging. Buy another 20 from th Bukit Panjang LFS!!

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

But I though tiger shrimp use to be around the range of $0.80 ~ $1.20. Not long ago they asking for $1.50 per pics[] . It will be damm cheap if the LFS is asking $0.50 per pics. Can u guys confirm is it the real tiger shrimp????

Seen a few LFS selling shrimps at very outrageous prices, lets not engourage them by not buying from them. Think they are not honest by jacking the price by at least double(eg$1) when some are selling at ($0.5)

I would not use the words "not honest" so lightly if I were you. Tiger shrimps are generally sold at around $1 at most fish shops. Someone comes along and decides to undercut the market by selling the same shrimps at half the price. Does that make all others dishonest?

There are always 2 sides to the coin. I've been in this hobby long enough to know that it isn't easy for the fish shop owners too.

I helped out the wife at her provision store in Yishun and I can tell you one eternal truth - The one who buys will always think it's too expensive; the one selling will always think the profit is too little. Don't believe me, ask anyone who's doing retail.

For those of you driving, simply take the BKE and exit at bukit panjang... look out for a Macs on the right and make a right turn... the shop is near the food area and some shops selling bread... and the place is called ZhengHua Village....

Btw, looks like got quite a few people staying in Bt Panjang... Cool

For those who take train, it's Pending LRT station. Walk straight, keep right. Look out for Mac. It's just a small lfs.
Bring along your standard "life jacket"(a piece of wool or dry leaf) for your shrimps. Don't expect the shop owner to do this. Not much left..

So sorry to piss you off so much timebomb. It is just a casual comment.

Anyway they all should push down the prices.

I am not trying to argue here just passing a remark hope you don't get so pissed off.

To avoid any misunderstanding I will not comment on this topic anymore.
