yeah, bus no 5 will stop right in front of the bus stop of NA (if you are going from the East), think around the 2nd bus stop after it exits the PIE, you will see Thomson Medical on the opposite side of the road. It take me 25 min to go there from Bedok Reservoir..

I get some of my stuff from bedok... Blk84 there.... cos there got 2 shop so I can just walk around but mostly I got my stuff from the shop name should be katong.......

Three of them are close together, one of them facing the sewage collection facility, and one inside the market. Used to have another one in a small hut, but already closed down. BTW, beware of the 'black shop' there...

Just came back from the Closing Down sale at Bedok Fish Shop, disappointed.

The feeling I have is that they are basically not interested in clearing their stuffs.

There are no indication of closing down sale anywhere. Just like another normal business day. No discounted price being put up, Even the guy down there was like busy chit chatting with another guy. Another lady was there, but busy serving other customer.

See a lot of old stuff there; fish food and medications with labels turning yellowish, filter boxes with lots of dust. I never bother to ask the pricing because they just don't bring out my desire to buy. Furthermore, they can't expect customers to go up to them and ask are you having a closing down sale, do they? Don't really understand how they can do business like this.

IMHO, since this is a closing down sale, whether they like it or not, they should have take stock of what can still be sold and try to bundle at an attractive price and get back as much money as possible. Example: I saw some packs of River Sand at the bottom of the tanks which they could easily bundle as buy 2 get 1 free ... At the very least, put up something to say Closing Down Sale....

the shop is near the famous miced pork noodle stalls right? they have been staging this closing down sale for a long long time.. i went some year back and got the same experience as you.. old dusty stuff and uniterested owner....disappointing...

Yes sir! That's a very very neat and clean fish shop I must say. Run by 2 aunties if I remember correctly. Has not been going there often but they do sell some shrimps the last time I'm there.

Unfortunately, think they do not stay in tune with the current trend in fish keeping by coming to the fishing forums. The last time I went there looking for a 1 feet cube tank, and they say it must be custom build, especially saying it in a manner that seems like a 1 feet cube tank is so rare and special...

Anyway, a good fish shop to support..

I last went early this year. Think I do see some moss tank there, but may not be the same one after all... Maybe some bros who has just visited them can give some updates...
