yes, when they are not breeding... otherwise, the ones breeder will show aggression. it could be a simply chase or tail nipping.. but there isnt anything to worry. Apisto are more to the ground level while the discus in the middle

agree with simon.....the discus will not bother the aspitos. However discus needs alot of space so that they will not turn on each other so often....for my 4x1.5x1.5 there is 3 tefe, 1 pair of aspitos, 2 checkerboard, and 20 tetras........
