is there a filter in your tank?
I'm looking for ornamental invertebrate that wont't destrop plants or eat other invertebrates.
Planning of putting them with my bettas so they cant be too big or produce too much biomass and can't be prey/predator species (no shrimp)
Pictures, common name and Scientific name greatly appreciated!

How big is the tank exactly? I have said this before, we are not clairvoyants, so information on the tank setup would really be helpful for others to help you, yeah?
If the tanks are really too small, small invertebrates are likely to be food for the Betta, while larger invertebrates will stretch the bioload. So I would not be too keen to recommend any.
around 15 x 10 x 15 thereabouts. sorry about the miscomunnications ^^

In cm or inches? If in cm, assuming you only have a single Betta sp. in the tank, then I would think perhaps a nerite snail would just about be okay, providing the pH isn't too low. Shrimps are definitely no-no, will end up as snacks. Just in case, get one which is larger than your fish's mouth.
There are many species of nerites, horned nerite is one of them. Picture courtesy of Justikanz.
If in inches, then a few Caridina multidentata (Yamato shrimps) can also be kept. You can choose larger ones, which will be too big to fit into your fish's mouth.

will the nerite snail crawl out of the tank?
Depends on how you keep the water conditions, if they don't like it, they will probably try to escape.
I'm interested in what are the water conditions that are good for the horned snails? Do they breed easily?
