otos don't eat greenspot algae. try nerites

thanks yi xiang.. will go get 1 nerite snail.. anything more than 1 they will start laying eggs with lots of white spots around...

Nerites will leave healthy plants alone, and will eat algae from leaves of plants. Rotting or decomposing matters (including uneaten food, dead fish or plants) may be eaten.
They are also gonochoristic, i.e. distinct different sexes. So while a single male will not lay eggs in your tank, I am pretty certain that a single female may do so, even if the eggs have not been fertilised internally, they just won't hatch.

thanks quixotic for the info..
i thinks snails have kinda 2 sex? means even if i comm 2 males together. 1 will turn female and breed?

Gonochoristic snails won't, it has only one sex in a single snail, either male or female. Hermaphrodite snails, e.g. ramshorn, have both sex, male and female in a single snail.
