probably not if you are referring to tubes that are commerically sold for household. They usually offered in 2ft, 3ft, and 4ft. Unless you are prepared to sacrifice the half feet or so, then you are pretty much stuck with Arcadia.
Hi all, I am using 2x38w Acardia light tubes for my 4ft tank. It is quite expensive and I realised that they come in 2.5 ft long. [] It there any other light tubes that come in such a length and can be used for planted tank also?.
If yes, where can I get it and the price.
Thanks

Hi David, but is it possible for me to lengthen it to 4ft? I would very much like to change it permits. In that way, I can change to Hitachi Extra Bright Tube which I think is very suitable for planted tank. But right now, what/how to do it?
Thanks.

if you have space for a bigger light fixture, you can go for 3ft or 4ft lights.
that is if you don't mind the overhang on both sides.
however, 3ft is less common than 2ft or 4ft.
you can also consider using pl light.
