Visited Aquastar at Yishun over the weekend.

They have done some rearrangement and install new display tanks. Very refreshing with more variety of fauna to see. I noticed quite a few tanks with interesting varieties of plecos with all those "L" numbers. [Sorry, I am not into plecos so please go and see for yourself.]

    Do check it out.

Yes, though I found it more cramp than it already was in the past. They are more into goldfishes now.

Hahahaha. Then you don't need to visit it. The floor is almost always wet. It is not that bad considering the back room is always flooded.

The staff should learn to pick up dead fish off the floor and throw it in the bin. Although it was quite amusing to see a grown man kick a dead fish from inside the shop all the way to the field.

I hope they will revamp their equipment/ dry goods section as well. Looks really messy, often remind me of another famous lfs in Clementi...

Btw, this "sighting" post have my support to remain here.
Might have been looking in the wrong spot. The exotic plecos were hidden in an awkward corner behind the shrimp rack.

Even scarier to look. I once saw the uncle step on the edges of two bottom tanks so he can reach the top most tank to catch fish ...

That is nothing. Last week when I was there I saw the uncle take a bucket of fish and try to "throw" it to the top tank because he cannot reach. He didn't even bother to use a f$&king net. The fish dropped like 5 feet on to the floor a few times and when he finally threw it in the tank, the fish was half dead. Then he proceded with the rest of the fish in the bucket. That was the last straw. I'm not buying anything from that shop again if that's how they treat the fish that they sell us.

Went there this afternoon didn't find it too wet but definitely a tight squeeze comparable to C328. I pity the louhan there their tiny tank makes them almost unable to move at all even worst then the fate of betta

their "sold" royal farlowella spawned in the display tank, few weeks back
when i went there last saturday, i noticed fries and many have died , i told the boss to sell me the remaining fries, and got 5 of them home, but alas 2 died but the remaining 3 survived... luckily i saw them and managed to save 3 of them, which is better than none...
