Addicted to invertebrates with over 60 snails.
Spotted a baby CRS in my tank yesterday. Yes, it is already red and white.
in the past, my A and B grade CRS shrimplets were born with the red and white bands..
I am thinking if CRS can cross breed with the orange shrimps.
Also, did any of you removed your fishes?
they get their colors as soon as they are born!
it just takes a couple of days until you can actually spot one of the new born babies. usually takes me about a week.

Oh no... I've got a tank of CRS grade A, B, C, Sakura, Cherry, Bee, Orange, Tiger, Green cherry, Yamato, and Rocket too!
Wonder what kind of cross-breed will there be?
thanks guys, i think my grade A and B CRS have cross bred with the white shrimps and thus their offsprings are also kinda transparent.
i think better to remove the white and tangerine shrimps from the tank.
hope for better results the next time.
Ghost shrimp don't cross breed with CRS, while orange shrimp are very unlikely to do so either.
Information on crossbreeding can be found in the sticky at the top, "Can I keep these different shrimps in the same tank?"
Dont really know what shrimps those are, if they are pure tangerine or pure ghost.
I am still hoping that the babies will survive with my tetras and will change colour later.
Right now, they still look transparent.
