    Hi to all, i juz set up my 4fttank for 10days. i hope some bro n sis can help mi to ID some of e plant i got. advice on which r e hard to keep n need low temp. to keep tem alive........ Thank You!!!!!

    Currently running 1 jebo biggest canister filter, 4ft X 3 T4 light (on for 5hours) CO2 dosing 2 bubbles per second.

    Got 3 layer of different and i tink e medium layer is fertilizer soil (brO titan choose e soil for mi)

    i think the plants are: (From left to right)

    Post #1
    1: - (Not sure, only know it as Fake "Gujing" )
    2: - (Not sure)
    3:Hottonia palustris
    4:Hemianthus callitrichoides 'Cuba' (HC)
    5:Cabomba caroliniana

    4: Hygrophila Difformis
    5: Tonina Sp Belem

    Thank you brO for e I.D........ are tey easy to keep w/o chiller?

    Sure, you're welcome.

    Generally, i think this plants do not need "chilled waters" to do well. However, it would be common practice by many aquascapers here to at least run a fan to help reduce water temperature so that the plants can do reasonably well.

    Most plants do prefer cool waters around 27-28 degrees.

    I do think some plants like Tonina sp Belem, HC as being more light demanding to grow well.

    As such, your Co2 and ferts input will have to increase with more lights being pumped in your tank, otherwise Mr algae will come visiting soon.

    Personally, i think you will need to add more plant mass if possible to this new set-up so as to help the tank mature faster.
