    Had been wanting to keep a few of the beautiful red line torpedo barbs but not sure about their requirements.

    Anyone can share the experience?

    Will try cause have 4 of these in my 3 feet

    Basically these are quite hardy fish and not too fussy about water parameters, clean water around PH 6.5 to around 7.0 should be fine. The only thing is they need lots of swimming space so a bigger tank is advisable.

    I feed them with all sort of food for ADA AP2 to Hikari wafers.

    The most important thing is these fishs are jumpers if they feel threaten they will not hesitate to jump out.

    So that is about it, enjoy...

    P.S. Oh keep about a group of 3 or more will be happier

    Be aware though there is a larger species, Puntius chalakudiensis that looks similar to Puntius denisonii in the trade.

    Hi WaterH2O and Quixotic... many thanks for the advices and tips

    Just saw numerous healthy specimens in Tiong Bahru Wuhu... probably will drop by tomorrow evening to get a pair for my 3 footer

    My wife and me has been wanting to keep this fish for a long time.
