    Hello, Aquatic Quotient members !
I'm currently keeping only wild angelfish; Pterophyllum altum from Orinoco, and Ptyerophyllum scalare from Rio Negro and Rio Oyapoque.
I am now getting started with shrimp, and looking for exotic tiger shrimps. Nothing available here in Blue Tigers, Black Tigers, or any Golden Eye Tigers, nothing !
I'm enjoying the friendly atmosphere of this forum.

    Hi Dave

Welcome to the forum! I believe shipping shrimps from the States is possible right?

    dave. be at home here
why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

thank you Cpark and route and hwchoy

Cpark, my tanks are not nice to look at and my photography is worse.

I'm browsing through all eth aquascaping threads to see what is possible for me to do from scratch with low tech and low budget.

I know I would kill my fish eventually with a CO2 setup. some times I find it tough to even keep the water in the tank !
Any way, I can get some ideas on how to plant my tanks using modern methods here, and some great inspiration from the art

route, it would be the same kind of effort to import from the states, but there seems only a couple of sellers and it's mostly light blues and blondes with a few dark blue tigers . I don't want to have to do a breeding program for extra months instead of getting dark blues..
I don't know anything much about shrimp so I'm thinking it's better to get mostly what I want to start with. If that makes sense.

    hwchoy, thanks !
though you may decide to have me extirpated later.
