    Question for you guys:

I got my cherry shrimps in a bare ten gal. to quarantine them a while back.

Three kinds of snails came with the piece of moss and with the other plants I bought with the shrimp.

I thought I had done a pretty decent job of cleaning and sanitizing the plants, almost killed them with chemical baths, but I guess NOT !

I wanted the plants to grow and put in my main tanks, and the shrimp to go into a different tank or tanks.

so I have snails in two tanks; the plant quarantine and grow out tank and the shrimp ten gal.

first, what is your opinion on snails and shrimp together. are the snails beneficial in any way ? do they harm shrimp sometimes ? The snails are multiplying and adding too much bioload at this point, too.

What do you suggest ? I've kept snails out of my tanks for ten years now and I may just toss out the few little plants and take out most of the shrimp from the ten into another tank.
